What is IdeaniX?
IdeaniX is an innovative program designed to empower undergraduates by providing them with the knowledge, skills, and resources necessary to turn their ideas into real-world products and startups.
Who is this program for?
IdeaniX is a program created especially for SLTC undergraduates who love coming up with new ideas, using technology, and starting their own businesses. No matter what degree you're studying, if you're excited to explore your creativity and bring your ideas to life, IdeaniX is for you!
What are the benefits of participating?
Students will gain valuable insights by learn problem-solving techniques, and understand the key aspects of entrepreneurship. They will also have the chance to pitch their ideas to a panel of judges, develop them into a real-world product, and win cash prizes.
What can you develop?
Throughout IdeaniX, participants will have the chance to develop their ideas into viable business plans and fully functional products. They will receive guidance and mentoring from industry professionals to refine their concepts, enhance their marketability, and create innovative solutions.

Phases Of IdeaniX

The Phases of IdeaniX are carefully designed to provide a comprehensive and transformative journey for participants. With each phase, IdeaniX aims to expand horizons, foster innovation, and empower students to realize their full potential in the realms of IT and entrepreneurship.

Guidance Sessions
Participants will learn about the Tech industry, how to identify problems and provide solutions, and what it means to be an entrepreneur. The program is a one-day physical session that is divided into 2 main sessions: Inspiration and Design Thinking.
Ideathon
Teams will be given a Business Canvas Model to help them develop their ideas into viable business plans. They will also be mentored by professionals in the industry who can help them refine their ideas and make them more marketable.
Hackathon
Teams will have two weeks to develop their ideas into fully functional products. The teams will then present their products to a panel of judges at the grand finale and the top 03 teams will receive cash prizes.

Rules and Regulations

Basic Rules & Regulations

  • All participants should be undergraduates of SLTC Research University.
  • A team should consist of 2 to 5 members, not be from the same Batch or same Degree program.
  • One contestant can represent only one team.
  • The ideas should be original and innovative.
  • Ideas should be presented in a proposal that adheres to the proposal format and guidelines provided.
  • The proposed idea cannot be changed after the submission of the proposal, but the final product may consist of additional features.

Important Information about the competition

  • Registration for the competition will be open from 30th June 7 p.m. to 12th July 12 a.m.
  • Incomplete submissions or any submissions related to the current real-world solution will be disqualified.
  • The idea must be a unique idea from your team, you can't rebuild an existing system.

Semi-Finals rules

  • The best performing 20 teams will be selected for the BMC session.
  • The selected teams must present the submitted proposals physically in front of a judging board. The judge's decision is the final decision that cannot be changed, irrevocable.
  • A maximum of 5 minutes will be given for that.
  • Once the top 10 teams are announced, they will be given 4 weeks (a one-month) to develop their ideas into the final output.

Finals rules

  • Finalist teams will be assigned to respected mentors according to the field of their idea and encouraged to present a final product or a reasonable prototype for the final presentation.
  • Competitors are highly encouraged to present a final product or a reasonable prototype for the final event.
  • The top 10 teams need to present their prototype in front of a judge panel and the judge's decision is the final decision.
  • The Grand Finale will be held on the 10th of September 2023.
